Grant programme on EkF TUKE

The grant program of the Faculty of Economics TUKE is focused on the support of scientific research of Master and doctoral students at EkF TUKE.

Objectives of the program

to increase students' interest in economic research through financial support for the publication of the results of this research,

to support the active participation of students in important foreign conferences and the presentation of achieved scientific results in important foreign forums,

increase the quality and competitiveness of student research outputs internationally through financial support.

Target group

The EkF TUKE grant program is intended for a maximum of 2 - member project teams composed of Master and doctoral students at EkF TUKE. Students of both internal and external forms of study can be members of project teams. Students who have interrupted their studies cannot apply for grant support.

Program criteria

Projects, whose activities are aimed at presenting the results of the EkF TUKE students' own scientific research, will be supported. Scientific research must bring new knowledge, information, methods or approaches. Research results must be actively presented in foreign competition.

Projects can focus on basic or applied research.

Supported projects should bring an innovative approach to solving current economic problems at the macro or micro level. Projects can solve economic problems in the widest range of economic science.

Technical criteria of the program

Only expenses directly related to the project activities can be covered from the program grant, especially the purchase of professional literature, software, costs associated with participation in conferences, publication costs. It will not be possible to cover wage costs from the project.

The maximum amount of support that a project team can apply for is EUR 2000. The best evaluated project proposals will be supported, depending on the financial possibilities of the faculty and the quality of individual projects.

Project implementation period: from January 15, 2018 to December 31, 2018.

Projects are submitted on the prescribed form electronically to by December 10, 2017. The contact person will be doc. Ing. Jozef Glova, PhD.
