Students of the Faculty of Economics can study at our faculty in English within the English-speaking program without traveling to the United Kingdom.

TUKE EkF students enrolled for full-time study in the field of Finance, Banking and Investment can enrol in the English-speaking program from the first year of the first degree, or in higher years if there is free capacity. Registered students will be included in the English-speaking study group (max. 24 students). Registration for the program takes place every year at the beginning of the semester on the basis of a call published on the faculty's website.

The principle of English-speaking education: in each year some subjects are taught partly in English, i.e. lectures are common for all groups in the Slovak language, but seminars resp. exercises in the English-speaking group are in English. Final exam resp. test of the subject is in Slovak language, continuous evaluations, projects, papers, all other activities at seminars are in English. This allows students to master professional vocabulary in both languages equally well (bilingual).

The English-speaking program is free for TUKE EkF students (except for foreign self-payers).

International students: If the capacity allows, foreign (especially Erasmus) students may be included in the English-speaking group.

List of subjects whose seminars resp. exercises are taught in English may vary in each academic year depending on the availability of individual teachers. Students will be informed about these changes.
