INVITATION: Implementing the EU Corporate Reporting Directive: implications for the accountancy profession

ACCA is delighted to invite you to a roundtable to discuss the implications of the new corporate sustainability reporting directive (CSRD) requirements for the profession and debate the risks and opportunities linked to the implementation together with Sven Gentner, Head of the Corporate Reporting, Audit and Credit Rating Agencies unit at the European Commission, and national regulators.

The Council and European Parliament reached an agreement on the CSRD, which aims to ensure that businesses report reliable, comparable, and verifiable sustainability information to re-orient investments towards more sustainable technologies and companies. It will be under the Czech Presidency that the implementation process of the new rules will kick off, and EU Member states will have 18 months to translate the new EU rules into their national legislation.
