Dear users,

we would like to inform you about a planned outage of IT services at the Technical University of Košice, which will take place due to the replacement of core switches and routers. The aim of this modernization is to improve the performance, reliability, and overall quality of IT services provided by the university.

Outage schedule:
Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 08:00 to 15:00

Expected impact:
During the outage, several IT services will be unavailable, in particular: internet connectivity of TUKE campus,TUKE websites, MAIS system, email services, VPN access, and other related university IT services.

The PERUN supercomputing services will remain available; however, partial outages or limited functionality may occur. The outage will not affect the connectivity of student accommodation facilities.

The outage window and its scope will be continuously minimized and optimized in order to restore external services as quickly as possible, followed by connectivity in the main TUKE campus as well as the Rampová and FVT Presov campuses.
