Košice Economic Forum (KEF), 15.04.2026
Faculty of Economics, TUKE is organizing the 4th annual Central European Conference in Finance and Economics 2.0 (CEFE 2.0), which is a part of the Košice Economic Forum (KEF). This year’s conference is subtitled “Geopolitical Challenges for Slovakia.”
The conference will take place on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in the Aula Maxima, TUKE, Letná 9.
The event will consist of two parts:
1. Plenary lectures:
The plenary lectures will be delivered by:
Iveta Radičová (former Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic)
Mikuláš DZURINDA (former Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic)
2. Panel discussion:
The panel discussion will feature:
Karel Hirman, former Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic
Zuzana Kaparová, Head of the Slovak Republic Office, European Investment Bank
Vanda Markovic, Deputy Head of the Economic Security Strategy Unit, Directorate-General for Trade, European Commission
Martin Sklenar, former Minister of Defense of the Slovak Republic; Future of Security Programme, GLOBSEC
Miroslav Wlachovsky Wlachovský, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic; GLOBSEC Distinguished Fellow
The panel discussion will be moderated by Zuzana Pelakova, Director of the Centre for Economy & Business at GLOBSEC
