Invitation to another Empirical Seminar of the Institute of Economic Research Slovak Academy of Sciences, this time from the field of theoretical and applied econometrics. The invitation has been accepted by Jesús Crespo Cuaresma (Department of Economics, Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria), who will present research discussing the role of influential sets in regression-based inference. With the use of different algorithmic techniques the sensitivity to influential sets is tested to validate some of the most established findings from the field of development economics.
