In the era of climate change awareness, digital solutions are a key driver in sustainable development. The twin transition approach combines digital and sustainability strategies to boost efficiency in combating climate change. The TeProD project aims to enhance educational twin transition (green transition and digitalization) agenda and capabilities of partnering Sub-Saharan African universities. In addition, the project will enrich the cooperation and exchange of best practices at an international level.
The specific objectives of the project are:

To increase circular economy, green transition, pedagogy and use of AI and digital-tools-in-education knowledge and skills of teachers in pedagogical programs

To increase the knowledge and skills of teachers in other HE programs in circular economy, green transition, digitalization, pedagogy and use of AI and digital tools in education

To align curricula with industry needs in twin transition

To enhance collaboration and partnerships among higher education institutions and industry professionals by establishing the community of practice in twin transition
The project will run for three years and involves collaboration between the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University of Košice (Slovakia), the University of Ghana (Ghana), the International University of Management (Namibia), and the University of Education Winneba (Ghana). The project is coordinated by Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland), a member of Ulysseus University.
